Since 2011 Maria and Alexander Koppitsch have been making natural wine in Burgenland having taken over Alex's father's vineyards. Practicing biodynamics in the vineyards and working with minimal intervention in the winery - there's no temperature control, fining, filtration or sulphur.
Ret is a super juicy blend of predominantly Zweigelt (like one of our favourites Beck Ink) with some Blaufrankisch that spend 14 months in acacia wood barrels. Enticing cranberry, red cherry and raspberry aromas with some darker notes from the Blaufrankisch and a crack of black pepper.
