Easily one of the finest hop-forward producers in the UK, and dare we say the world, we never get tired of showering praise on the mighty Verdant.

Continually building upon an already exceptional arsenal of juicy joy, with a cemented cask offering, expanded core range and an ever-excellent set of brand-spanking new, varying specials there's always a lot to love.

And, this week sees some suitably left field (and not so) selections of Cornish Crackers...

As to what most, or hopefully some, of you are here for, we'll cut to the chase - Putty is here, and there is some.

First brewed in 2017 for Northern Monk's Hop City festival this green enigma sold out in record time. So they thought why not brew it again to hopefully stand amongst the heavyweights in the haze world. Of course, lightning has struck seven times since, for a ray of juicy sunshine in an otherwise quiet spot of the calendar.

Though times have changed, remarkably this Galaxy, Azacca and Mosaic DIPA has had the same recipe since its inception. Founded upon an impeccably pillowy body with masses of creamy, dank hop saturation this positively glows "like a satsuma in a pint of double cream".

Expect deep mangoes, apricots and freshly cut grass notes to pervade your senses, with each sip taking on a new layer of complexity.

Unfortunately, this year was another super small batch, but we'll take what we're given. As such, we've got a two can limit per customer, to keep things nice and fair, and fingers crossed it'll last more than a few days!

Of course, there's plenty of non - 8.0% bonkers DIPA options. In fact, we have something on the complete other end of the spectrum with Psych, their new AF IPA which promises crisp, clear, hoppy goodness at just 0.5%. Originally a small pilot batch, this has now gone through round after round of refinement for the full release, and you can definitely tell!

Elsewhere there's West Coast goodness in Duration collab Essentials, and the always popular Pig's All Day. While Invisible Ceiling gives us that juice factor at a more sessionable Pale strength, with plenty more options floating about the shops.
