Flying the flag for bitter, hop-forward beers and more throwback American Craft Beer styles like Red Ales, Porters, and even beautiful Black IPAs Elusive have been admirably going against the grain for just over ten years now.

Led by their flagship West Coast IPA Oregon Trail (which has won more awards than we can count) they've become darlings of the scene, without ever really needing to shout too loudly about their talents.

In fact their quiet fixation on finessing and tweaking beers, has been offset brilliantly by playful, nostalgic references in their identity, and a real sense of passion imbued into every last drop of beer.
Although we've been stocking them piecemeal for some time, we're delighted to now be working directly, ensuring fresher stock, more limited edition beers, and naturally better pricing so you can fill your basket.

For their first time out we have a varying selection across the shops but keep your eyes peeled for fresh releases like Threads, a lean, mean West Coast in collaboration with Verdant celebrating their tenth Birthday. And, on a similar tip, Sorachi Trail puts a spin on their classic with distinctive dill-citrus undertones.

For those after something a little more comfortingly malty, look no further than Tenacious C, a rich, creamy and delicious Vanilla Stout. Whereas Red Ale Level Up wonderfully balances both worlds with resinous hop goodness set against a wonderfully layered caramel character.

Meanwhile, Endor proves perfectly Hazy Pales are no afterthought here. NZ favourites Superdelic and Nelson combine for juicy mango, crushed gooseberry, and sherbety tropical fruits.
