Producing their first beers in Autumn 2013 Burning Sky began as a brewers dream. Intertwining their love of punchy hop forward pales, and the artful blending of Belgian tradition they helped spearhead a new wave of Craft Beer alongside the likes of Cloudwater and Pressure Drop.

Tucked into the foothills of the rolling South Downs in the idyllic small village of Firle, steam wafts from refurbished farm buildings put to full production, set against sheer rural tranquility.

Making beers across all styles and formats, their Cask-focus in an area already rich with heritage saw them gain great acclaim for beers like Plateau, and Aurora.

However that's not to say they've sat still, instead they bring with them a broad output and density of flavour that feels like a welcome contrast, but not a dismissal of current trends.

As such we've got another handsome selection this week, and we hope they find the audience they so deserve.

Beginning with their go-to's the super slurpable, Luppoleto Pils is a beautiful example of the style. Crisp, citric, with a dry finish, it's an absolute steal at just £3.50 a pop.

Flagship Pale Arise returns of course and is absolutely singing right now. Peachy, piney and with a resinous twang, this is built for repeat visits.

While, AF IPA Low Life was apparently such a treat last time around, we needed to re-order pronto as we didn't get to try it all ourselves!

Changing lanes slightly freshie Expression is an IPA focussing on their favourite hop varieties throughout the year, with Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic featured for pithy floral and tropical fruit aromas.

As to the farmhouse fun, Woven is a nuanced Pale Ale fermented with three strains of Brettonmyces over the same number of months in stainless steel for something refreshing, with a delicately crisp funk.

Meanwhile, Petite Framboise Cerise is another wonderful special edition of their classic Barrel Aged Petite. This time it's been blended with fresh raspberries and cherries for a light, zippy and slightly tart rustic ale.

If that wasn't enough we also have two versions of Anniversaire, their annual Saison which is a celebration of all things mixed fermentation not likely to hang around.

Lightly spiced in the boil, this was fermented and aged in French Chardonnay barriques with wild yeast strains, for wonderfully elegant oak character.

Here, one version was laid to rest as is, while the other spent time on whole blackberries, for an unctuous iteration laced with hedgerow fruit flavour.

Anyhow, whether it's a fridge-filler or something to test your tastebuds, we of course have 10% Off Any 6+ Online or Double Loyalty Points in-store. You know you need some Burning Sky in your life!
