Though you might think it's a fool's errand, or simply impossible to judge the best brewery in a week, let alone a year, we absolutely love the process of knocking our heads together to decide which producer will take the crown - even if it isn't exactly a science.

In a year where the standards in the UK scene have reached dizzying new heights, there are plenty of more than deserving candidates. Stalwarts like Burnt Mill, Track, Beak and The Kernel have knocked it out of the park, expanding their horizons, and ours in turn.

Meanwhile, once rising stars like Two Flints or Gravity Well have ascended into higher pantheons, out-performing bigger, and better funded breweries.
However, no brewery quite ticked more boxes this year, than East London Legends, Pretty Decent Beer Co.

Joining the Clapton Craft stable in Spring of 2024 PDBC have gone from strength to strength, taking acclaim not least for their affordability, stylistic range, aesthetic, consistency, and of course, sheer quality.

Our overall 7th top selling Brewery this year (3rd in London) so far, their growth in popularity has been built sustainably and organically with no signs of slowing down.
Our collaboration, Let The Bears Pay The Bear Tax, only solidified our relationship with these fine folk, and brewing upstarts. And, it certainly doesn't hurt, that they're kind, passionate, talented people, with a business model that bucks a lot of the trends in the current industry. 

With incredible customer and staff feedback, along with some accompanying lofty sales (there's just a handful of Bear Tax tins left!), it's clear we all share the same passion for their accessible, yet exceptional beers.
Consequently, we've got a bumper crop to celebrate these heroes, with double loyalty points in-store and 10% off 6 or more beers on the Webshop running until (at least) January 2nd.

So take in what we have for you, and grab some of their suds pronto, to see what the fuss is all about...
Core range crackers like crispy-clean Pilsner Gulp, moreish Session IPA I Could Get Better At T*sco For A Quid, and silky smooth Milk Stout Employee Of The Month are all worth filling the fridge with.

AF excellence in the zingy Can you Kazoo? is nothing to sneer at too, while fresh specials include bright, zesty IPA Little Milk Collector, the equally juicy DDH Pale Antarctivark, as well as luscious pavlova-inspired Sour I Love Burn.
