Domaine Henry Fuchs is a 10 hectare organic estate in Ribeauvillé at the heart of Alsace. The soil is a combination of limestone and marl with the former contributing complex acidity to the wines and the latter providing power and drive. All grapes are hand harvested before gentle whole bunch pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
This is Pinot Blanc with a little Auxerrois from 40 year old vines. Ripe pear, lemon and spice aromas with a hint of sweetness balanced by zingy citrus acidity.
