Domaine Henry Fuchs is a 10 hectare organic estate in Ribeauvillé at the heart of Alsace. The soil is a combination of limestone and marl with the former contributing complex acidity to the wines and the latter providing power and drive. All grapes are hand harvested before gentle whole bunch pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
This is fresh and elegant Alsace Pinot Noir from clay soils. Ripe black cherry with hints of tobacco spice on the nose leading to a soft and supple palate with crunchy fruit and light tannins.
