Sylvere Trichard of Domaine Séléné is something of a rising star in Beaujolais, working naturally to craft wines that are refined and polished. Free-standing goblet vines are left with grass and wildflowers to grow beneath, the strips in between are maintained simply with a mower - no ploughs or machinery here.

Here we have Sylvere's consistently amazing Beaujolais Nouveau. A real treat year-in, year-out, Mathilde & Sylvère now exclusively make the Nouveau from their own organic domaine fruit. In 2024, they decided to focus deeper on their own farming and agroforestry projects as a long-term plan against climate change.

Expect classically vibrant, pure red fruit flavours, subtle florality and a mineral tinge. Perhaps our favourite Nouveau around!
