Named after the 200m wide meteorite crater that lies at the heart of the estate, Domaine du Météore is located high up in the schist soils of the Languedoc mountains. The vines are currently farmed organically with conversion to biodynamics underway and a terroir-driven, minimal-intervention approach is taken to wine making.
The Leonides is a powerful and meaty blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault with masses of black fruit overlaid with thyme, lavender and a touch of balsamic. Full-bodied & rich on the palate with great concentration.
