Lallemand LalBrew Pomona™ is new hybrid IPA yeast and the latest release from Lallemand Brewing, which will bring a whirlwind of tropical flavours.
Paired with Azacca CGX and fresh 2023 Azacca and Luminosa hops for big tropical and exotic fruit flavours. We added a touch of Zappa in the whirlpool for flavours of berry and a hint of spice.
Northern Monk is one of only a handful of breweries in the UK to get their hands on this yeast so far.
Named after the goddess of fruit trees, LalBrew Pomona™ brings juicy tropical flavours to beers, with peach, citrus and tropical fruit notes. It’s developed in partnership with Escarpment Laboratories, an innovative Canadian yeast company.
