Domaine Henry Fuchs is a 10 hectare organic estate in Ribeauvillé at the heart of Alsace. The soil is a combination of limestone and marl with the former contributing complex acidity to the wines and the latter providing power and drive. All grapes are hand harvested before gentle whole bunch pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Full-bodied, round and well-structured on the palate, this is an intense and aromatic Pinot Gris with a bouquet of ripe pears and apricots, along with some earthy flavours.
