Trappistes Rochfort 6
- Style: Trappist Dubbel Ale
- ABV: 7.5%
Another superb entry in Rochefort's prestigious range. A dark 'double' style ale, dry and remarkably easy drinking with a mild, herbal character alongside plenty of malty goodness.
- Style: Golden Ale
- ABV: 4.8%
Westmalle Extra is the beer provided to the monks of the Abbey of our Lady of the Holy Heart for consumption with their meals. A top fermented 4.8% golden ale designed to be thirst-quenching, full of fruity aromas, and full bodied. Brewed only with whole cone noble hops and, unlike the Tripel and Dubbel, without any brewing sugar additions. Extra is bottled unpasteurised, and is refermented in the bottle too, to preserve the richness of all its component parts, and allow some evolution in the bottle.
Delirium Tremens Blonde
- Style: Belgian Strong Ale
- ABV: 7.4%
A cult beer of Belgium. A strong golden ale with fine and regular effervesce to ensure a fine and stable head. Slightly malty with a nice touch of alcohol to ignite the mouth. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter.
Westmalle Tripel Trappist Ale
- Style: Tripel Trappist Ale
- ABV: 9.5%
Known as the “Mother of Tripels”, this gorgeous beer is thought to be the first example of the Belgian tripel style beer. Golden and slightly hazy, this beer has a fantastic deep fruit and spicy aroma, with banana bread-like flavours and herbal notes to balance the sweetness.
Duchess De Bourgogne Flemish Red Ale
- Style: Flemish Red
- ABV: 6.2%
This Flemish red from Verhaeghe is truly unique. The amber beer is brewed in the normal fashion and then put into oak barrels for many years to take on that oak character and turn slowly sour. It has a wonderful oak and cherry aroma, with a hint of balsamic vinegar. It starts beautifully sweet and melts away into a soft, sour cherry-like beer known as a Flemish Red.
Blanche De Bruxelles Witbier
- Style: Wheat Beer
- ABV: 4.5%
Brewed by Lefebvre just south of Brussels the beer named after the city is a light, fruity witbier with typical cloudiness because the yeast remains in suspension. The neck label depicts the famous 'Mannekin Pis'
- Style: Belgian Pale Ale
- ABV: 6.2%
The distinctive fruity and bitter taste of Orval beer means it has become a genuine reference in the exclusive world of authentic Trappist beers. Orval beer is a high fermentation beer and the ageing process adds a fruity note, which strikes a subtle balance between the beer’s full-bodied yet complex flavour and bitterness.
Fruli Strawberry Belgian Witbier
- Style: Strawberry Wheat Beer
- ABV: 4.1%
A unique blend of white beer and strawberry juice. The juice complements the zestiness of the wheat beer and the result is a balanced and refreshing beer that is packed with strawberry fruit flavour.
Very refined and complex with hints of vanilla mixed with citrus aromas, Tripel Karmeliet has the lightness and freshness of wheat, the creaminess of oats together with a spicy lemon dryness.
Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!
St Bernardus Wit
- Style: Wheat Beer
- ABV: 5.5%
dense. In aroma, it has a wheaty, apple-like, tartness; herbal-spicy notes with coriander and orangey fruitness and honeyish sweetness. This traditional Witbier (Wheat beer) has been developed in cooperation with Master Brewer Pierre Celis, the Godfather of Hoegaarden and Celis White.
Rodenbach Grand Cru
- Style: Flanders Red Ale
- ABV: 6%
The Rodenbach Grand Cru is one to be admired. This Belgian ale of the Flanders Red Ale style is a blend of a younger beer with an older beer that had been aged in oak vats. Aromas of balsamic vinegar and sharp-yet-sweet flavours of fruit, oak and Madeira wine give this beer an unparalleled complexity.
