Boatyard Sloe Boat Gin is a new permanent release, developed and distilled by the Boatyard team in Co. Fermanagh, Ireland.
It is made by steeping wild-grown, handpicked sloe berries for six months in a bespoke gin. Using a very high proportion of sloe berries to spirit gives a rich natural flavour which is then gently sweetened with sustainably sourced organic sugar.
The sloe gin displays notes of sweet plum and cassis, married perfectly with sloe berry tartness and dry juniper.
The new Boatyard Sloe Boat is perfect neat and in cocktails, especially the Charlie Chaplin and various winter warmers.
