Sophie and Thierry Chardon of L'Aumonier have been based in Touraine since 1996, working with the Sauvignon Blanc the area is famed for as well as Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Côt (Malbec), Gamay and Cabernet Franc. Farming has been organic since 2006 and biodynamic since 2021 with the soil a mixture of the argile and silex.
Les Arpents is an excellent Chardonnay made from hand-picked organic grapes, fermented with indigenous yeast and aged in stainless steel. Ripe peach and apricot aromas with hints of honeysuckle and spiced apple.
