A classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape, made by Jaques Mestre in the town itself. Aged in large oak foudres this has firm structure, bold spice, and pepper to be expected of the traditional style. Soft cedar wood accompanies with a spicy kick, and a good long length for something rather special.
