Strong women, strong wines – this is the motto that mother Maria and daughter Anna live by at the Faber-Köchl winery. A deep connection to nature and the lauded Weinviertel region is important to these organic winemakers, who eschew emulating the major wine-producing nations. "A wine should taste like where it comes from," they say! In 2019, Anna was awarded Austria's Newcomer Winemaker of the Year for her efforts.

This fruit-forward, charming Austrian Zweigelt; opens with a basket of fresh red fruits - sweet cherries, wild raspberries, and plums - underlaid by gentle hints of tobacco leaf, wild meadow herbs and a dust of white pepper.
