The UK's first queer and trans-owned brewery, Queer Brewing, have been making waves with their beers, and ethos since 2019.

Starting up as a collaboration project with luminaries like Cloudwater, they've garnered great acclaim for their quality of output, with evocative branding and naming alongside to provide visibility and representation for LGTBQ+ people in an industry all too lacking in diversity and awareness.

However, in early 2024, they were forced to come to a crossroads debating whether to pack it all in, facing the costs, and lack of control producing their own beers elsewhere - or to dive in, and build their own brewery.
Thankfully, they chose the latter! Taking on the unit next to their Leyton warehouse in September 2024, they've since installed a 30hL refurbished brewhouse, six new fermenting vessels, a gorgeous canning line, and a reverse osmosis water treatment system all to give them complete control and precision to execute any style they like.
Quickly gaining footing in their new home, they had an exceptional '25, with this year looking no different. And, fresh out the gates they've not only brewed up a fresh batch of fan favourite Hazy AF Paler Bold, but also a bigger IPA sibling too.

The former features a complex malt profile for that ever-hard to achieve full mouthfeel, alongside two all-timer hops in Citra and Nelson Sauvin, for beautiful citrus notes with a few tropical accents.

Meanwhile, they've drawn inspiration from their iconic 6% IPA Burst Into Bright for Brighter, Bolder, using the same hopping schedule with Taiheke deployed throughout, carefully tweaking the recipe to recreate that signature soft body and bright character, with Kveik yeast bringing gorgeous tangerine notes.
Of course, we also have a bounty of some of their tantalising treats stocked across the shops. Crispy Pilsner Tiny Dots is always worth looking out for, while floral, citrus-flecked Witbier Flowers is a brilliant take on the underrated style.

In addition, gluten Free guzzler Existence Is A Radical Act and the aforementioned original IPA Burst Into Bright deliver big on hazy heaven.
